Originally called Villa Jūrapilis, this place was built at the end of the 19th century. It is believed that it was designed by the Italian architect Leonardo Marconi and commissioned by Count Felix Tishkevich.
It is said that Felix Tishkevich gave this villa to his brother Alexander Tishkevich, Count of Kretinga. The villa has become not only a family summer residence, but also a symbol of elegance. Although time and wars have not spared this place, its exceptional spirit has survived to this day.
After many years, Vila Komoda was resurrected to a new life. The reconstruction completed in 2018 turned it into a cozy place where guests can enjoy accommodation by the sea and delicious dishes in our restaurant in Palanga.
